A Road Trip Across America

In two weeks time, I will embark on an epic road trip across the country and back in my MKVI GTI. For all those interested, the trip should take me about a month, and it will cover some 7000 miles. The first leg of the journey will take me through the Mountain West and into Colorado, where I’ll be spectating and writing about the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. I will be camping out overnight at 9 mile, if any other Opponauts are there. From there I’ll drive through amber waves of grain until I hit the rust belt and then the Eastern seaboard. Down the coast I’ll go, eventually threading my way inland to New Orleans. Then it will be back through the desert to Arizona, my home. You won’t be in Philly for the Cars and Coffee on Saturday the 9th but while you’re here, be sure to check out the Simeone Museum. Doug had his Skyline there on display for a little bit.

AWE Tuning is in the metro area as well if you need to pickup any performance parts :)

EDIT: Just remembered - Thursday nights at Centerton Square (parking lot hangout) there’s a Euro only meet. Mostly VW’s/Audi’s that show up and I don’t normally go. This is in Moorestown, NJ - roughly 25 min from downtown Philly right off 295/Turnpike.
